A new year and a new calendar
Welcome to 2020 and another new year. If you are anything like us, we are excited for what lies ahead. As the title of the article suggests, we have been working hard over the last few months to kickoff the new year with a beautiful new calendar.
This is exciting because we have learned a lot over the last few years and wanted to show our customers that we are continually investing in the Start Booking product experience. In addition to our commitment to our customers, we feel that the calendar is the backbone to a great online scheduling experience. Not only does it need to be functional, it also needs to be beautiful. Let us walk you through some of the highlights below.
We understand that you are on the go and frequently viewing your calendar from your phone so first and foremost it was important to us that we nailed a great mobile experience.
If you have Stripe connected with your Start Booking account you can enjoy seamless payments for your services and classes. From your calendar, you can add payment methods, view the status of a payment and charge directly for your bookings. Learn more about setting up Stripe payments for online booking.
For those of you on the business plan, you get the benefit of enhanced filters for switching the events of your users and rooms.
Like always, this is just a teaser of the highlights of the new calendar. There is more to come with this release including performance improvements and some navigation changes (to better accommodate the new calendar). You can expect to see these changes rolling out over the next couple weeks as we complete testing.
